How to make bold text
- Enter your text. Type or paste your text in the Your text box.
- Pick a bold style. The Bold styles list shows your text in six bold styles.
- Copy and paste. Press Copy next to the style you want, then paste it in your bio, post or message.
What is bold text that you can copy?
Normal bold is a format. An app applies it to text, and it is lost when you paste the text where formatting is not allowed, such as a social media bio.
The bold text from this tool is different. It uses Unicode characters that are bold by design, made for mathematics. Each bold letter is its own character, so it stays bold wherever the text is pasted.

A serif font has small strokes at the ends of the letters. A sans-serif font does not.
Why the result may not look right
- Empty boxes or question marks. The device or app that shows the text does not have these characters. The two plain bold styles have the widest support.
- Letters with accents stay normal. Unicode has bold forms only for the English letters A to Z. Letters such as é and ñ, and other scripts, do not change.
- Punctuation stays normal. Signs such as ! and ? have no bold form.
- The app refuses the text. Some apps and sites do not allow special characters in names or usernames.
- The text stops growing. The box takes up to 2,000 characters.

Good to know before you use it
Screen readers often cannot read these characters as words, and search does not find text written with them. Use bold Unicode text for a short highlight, and keep important information in normal letters.
